WAW is in a new book!
An organization that is near and dear to my heart, Women for Afghan Women (WAW), will be included in a new book entitled " We Are Afghan Women". Theatre for Humans introduced WAW to the George W. Bush Institute last year and I am proud to say that since then, the Bush Institute has been extremely helpful and supportive of Women for Afghan Women and the work they do. This new book spotlights the stories of 29 inspiring and heroic Afghan women in there own voices and records their extraordinary struggles, resolve and will to triumph in present day Afghanistan. The book will be release on March 8, 2016 (International Women's Day).
