Happy New Year 2016
2015 was filled with so many great yet unexpected moments, that I thought the photo featured in our Happy New Year post should mirror that sentiment. This photo was taken on the rooftop of a hotel in Boston just before the New Year’s Eve fireworks display over the harbor several years ago. Clearly someone was on this roof earlier and decided to make two tiny snow people on a small ledge. For whatever reason, this just struck a chord in me. I don’t know why, perhaps it was the sweet, simplicity of the creation or the overwhelming feeling that I got when I gazed down on these little people that life is better shared.
So here’s my photo – may your 2016 be filled with simple pleasures and unexpected, joyful moments.
Happy New Year!
