Theatrical Productions
An original play by Pulitizer Prize and Tony Awarding winning
playwright Marsha Norman.
A play about human trafficking and violence toward women in the world, drawing on interviews with survivors and people who work in this field worldwide. The play will look at the relationship between trading people for sex or labor. It will also examine the causes and costs of violence toward women and the efforts being made to stop it.
"This is a big topic, but the play will search for a way to approach it personally, nationally and globally" says Norman.
Theatre for Humans is proud to be the first theatrical production in collaboration with the United Nations Creative Community Outreach Initiative.
