Just received this photo from our friend Peninah Nthenya, the founder of Safe Spaces in Nairobi, Kenya.  She has been campaigning to raise high school tuition money for the girls in her program.  Happy to say that Theatre for Humans was able to help get the word out and the girls pictured above are outfitted in their school uniforms and getting ready for another year of education.

The rough cut for our documentary is in and seeing some of the interviews again made us miss the people who were kind enough to share their time and insights with us during our research trip.   Happy to say we were able to reconnect with everyone in a few days.  Annie with Night Light, Michelle with CARE and Peninah with Safe Spaces replied almost immediately to our email asking for a quick update.

They finally arrived!  It took more than a month, but the uniforms donated by the L.A. Sparks have made their way to the girls in the Safe Spaces program in Nairobi, Kenya.   For those not familiar with them, the L.A.
